Everbuild 209 Liquid Mortar Tone

Everbuild 209 Liquid Mortar Tone is a liquid cement colouring admixture for tinting all types of mortar, concrete, render and pointing. Being liquid, it disperses quickly and evenly throughout the mix, producing a uniform shade with every batch, and the dose can be adjusted to achieve a wide variety of colour depths. Available in Black (carbon black based), supplied in 1L and 5L plastic containers. As well as colouring the mix, 209 Liquid Mortar Tone contains a plasticiser that improves workability and trowelability, reduces bleeding and segregation, and inhibits efflorescence. Chloride free (chloride ion content <0.1%). The liquid format makes it easier to disperse evenly compared to powder alternatives, with no risk of unmixed pigment clumps in the finished material.

Good to know

• Add to the gauging water at up to 1L per litre of gauging water, adjust quantity to achieve the desired colour depth
• Use a consistent quantity across all batches for a uniform colour throughout the job
• Test colour on a small area and allow to dry fully before proceeding, wet mortar will appear darker than the finished dry colour
• Suitable for flooring screeds, bricklaying mortar and external renders, see product datasheet for specific mix designs
• Store between +5°C and +25°C in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight, protect from frost
