Tekcem MVS (Moisture Vapour Suppressant)

Tekcem MVS is a single-component, rapid-drying, two-coat moisture vapour suppressant designed to control residual construction moisture in cementitious subfloors prior to the installation of floor coverings. Applied in two coats to concrete, sand/cement screeds and other absorbent substrates, it provides reliable moisture protection up to 95% RH — tested in accordance with BS 8203 using a calibrated hygrometer. Its dual-purpose formulation acts as both a moisture barrier and a primer, eliminating the need for separate priming and simplifying the floor preparation process. Bright pigmentation makes coverage easy to identify, ensuring full and even application every time. Water-based, solvent-free and ready to use straight from the container, Tekcem MVS helps accelerate flooring programmes by allowing levelling compounds, smoothing compounds and final floor finishes to be installed earlier — reducing delays and overall project costs. Available in 5kg and 25kg containers.
