Visqueen A2 Vapour Barrier

Visqueen A2 Vapour Barrier is a multi-layer reinforced aluminium air and vapour control layer (AVCL) used to control the passage of air and moisture vapour through the building envelope. It has a reflective aluminium finish on the upper surface and a matt aluminium surface on the reverse, and is suitable for use in floor, wall and roof constructions.

The barrier achieves an A2-s1,d0 reaction to fire classification to BS EN 13501-1:2018, so it is well suited to projects where non-combustible materials are specified, and it is compliant with UK Building Regulations. It is UKCA, UKNI and CE marked to EN 13984:2013, helping meet Building Regulation and warranty provider requirements. The membrane is supplied as a single wound roll rather than folded, which helps keep it clean and straightforward to lay out on site.
