Visqueen FR+ Vapour Tape

Visqueen FR+ Vapour Tape is a single sided sealing tape developed as part of the Visqueen A2 Vapour Barrier system. It consists of a black surfaced composite foil and glass fibre carrier coated with a high bond, fire resistant self adhesive acrylic, with the adhesive protected by a removable release film until use.

The tape is used to seal the lap joints and perimeter junctions of the Visqueen A2 Vapour Barrier, helping to maintain a continuous, airtight control layer across the envelope. As part of that system it contributes to the A2-s1,d0 reaction to fire classification to BS EN 13501-1:2018, making it suitable for projects where non-combustible materials are specified.

Good to know 

• There's also a conformity condition on the datasheet: to maintain the A2-s1,d0 classification, the tape coverage must not exceed 10% of the area of the A2 Vapour Barrier.
