Ancon HRT4 Housing Wall Tie

Ancon Staifix HRT4 is one of the most widely specified housing wall ties in the UK, manufactured from high quality stainless steel for long term corrosion resistance and durability in all cavity wall environments. As a Type 4 tie to PD6697 it is suitable for external walls of domestic houses up to 10 metres high, and as a Type A tie to Approved Document E it meets the acoustic performance requirements for internal cavity masonry separating walls in new build attached dwellings.

The multi-drip feature prevents moisture from crossing the cavity regardless of which way up the tie is installed, maintaining the thermal and moisture performance of the wall. Dynamic stiffness greater than 4.8MN/m³ means the HRT4 can be used with all approved robust details for cavity masonry separating walls, whether traditional or thin-joint blockwork, eliminating the need for pre-completion sound testing in qualifying separating wall constructions.

Available in five lengths from 200mm to 300mm to suit cavities from 50mm to 175mm. The 300mm length, launched in 2024, supports wider cavity constructions and aids compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations and the Future Homes Standard. NHBC compliant. CE and UKCA marked.
