Ancon ST1 Heavy Duty Wall Tie

Ancon ST1 is the heavy duty option in the Ancon brick-to-block cavity wall tie range, offering Type 1 performance to PD6697 — the highest classification available. Unlike the RT2 and HRT4 which carry altitude and wind speed restrictions, the ST1 can be specified for any building of any height, anywhere in the British Isles, making it the go-to choice for projects in exposed locations, at altitude, or where the specification demands the highest classification of wall tie.

Manufactured from high quality stainless steel for long term corrosion resistance and durability. The specially designed safety ends reduce the risk of injury during handling and installation on site, and multiple drips in the cavity-spanning section allow the ST1 to be used in both open and partial-fill insulated cavities without restriction.

The 300mm length is particularly useful for wider cavity constructions of 151-175mm, providing additional embedment in the inner leaf to help keep the tie horizontal during build which can be difficult to achieve with a 275mm tie at standard embedment. CE and UKCA marked. Available in five lengths from 200mm to 300mm to suit cavities from 50mm to 175mm.
