Ancon Staifix RT2 Wall Tie

Ancon Staifix RT2 is a widely specified stainless steel general purpose cavity wall tie, designed as a modern replacement for the traditional double triangle tie. Manufactured from high quality stainless steel for long term corrosion resistance and durability, the RT2 is a step up from the light duty HRT4, offering Type 2 performance to PD6697 and suitability for a broader range of building types and heights.

The RT2 is suitable for domestic houses and small commercial buildings up to 15 metres high, making it the go-to choice for projects that fall outside the scope of the light duty HRT4. A series of holes in the section that spans the cavity act as water drips, preventing moisture from crossing the cavity, and the design allows the same tie to be used in both insulated and open cavity applications.
