RIW Cavity Drain Over Tape

RIW Cavity Drain Over Tape is applied over the top of joints and fixing positions in cavity drain membranes to provide an additional seal. It supplements the Cavity Sealing Tape as a secondary barrier to prevent fine materials entering the drainage cavity, particularly where there is a risk of screed or plaster penetrating joints under pressure.

Benefits

• Secondary self-adhesive sealing layer for previously sealed joints and fixing plug penetrations
• Prevents screed and plaster from entering the drainage cavity at joints and fixing points
• Provides additional protection at vulnerable fixing plug penetrations where the membrane has been perforated

Good to know

• Apply over all previously sealed joints (on top of Cavity Sealing Tape) and over all fixing plug penetrations
• Used as a complement to RIW Cavity Sealing Tape, not a standalone replacement.
