RIW Cavity Drain Plugs

RIW Cavity Drain Plugs are mechanical fixings used to secure RIW Cavity Drain membranes to walls in Type C basement water management systems. They are driven through the membrane into pre-drilled holes in the wall substrate and create a positive mechanical fix that holds the membrane in place during plastering or board fixing operations.

Good to know

• Drill substrate to the appropriate diameter. Press the plug through the membrane stud and into the pre-drilled hole.
• Space fixings at typically 300 mm centres
• Seal over plug penetrations using RIW Cavity Drain Over Tape
