Description
Novia 1600G Radon Gas Barrier is a 400 micron (1600 gauge) virgin grade polythene membrane providing a continuous, impermeable barrier against radon gas ingress. Compliant with BR 211 and BS 8485 for radon protection and meets EN 13967 as a damp proof membrane. CE approved to EN 13967:2012. Suitable for both taped and welded installations. Green in colour with no text or images. Available on NBS Chorus and NBS Source. Supplied multifolded in a 4m x 20m roll (80m²).

Good to know
- When installing as a taped system use Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape (50mm minimum width) between laps and Novia Aluminium Foil Lap Tape (96mm minimum width) on overlaps to ensure a complete gas seal
- Welded installations must be undertaken by competent and experienced operatives and are subject to independent verification in accordance with CIRIA C735
- Green in colour with no text or images
