Rhinoplast Evolution Gas Barrier

Rhinoplast Evolution is a high specification co-extruded multi-layer gas barrier membrane developed using the latest co-extrusion technology. At 0.4mm thick, it consists of fourteen layers including two layers of EVOH gas barrier polymer encased in polyethylene outer layers. This construction provides outstanding protection against volatile organic compounds, hydrocarbons, methane, radon and carbon dioxide without the need for aluminium foil or reinforcement, allowing the membrane to be installed in direct contact with concrete without risk of corrosion. Purple in colour. Single wound to achieve a flat surface, with coverage of 100m² per roll.

Designed for loose-laid applications, Rhinoplast Evolution is suitable for full line-out installations or in combination with the Evolution Gas DPC. It can be positioned above or below concrete ground floor slabs and above precast suspended segmental ground floor systems such as beam and block floors. Compliant with BS 8485:2015+A1:2019 and incorporates the performance guidance of CIRIA C748:2014. BBA approved. NHBC Amber 1 and Amber 2 compliant. CE marked for waterproofing to EN 13967:2012+A1:2017. Suitable for all characteristic Gas Situation (CS) ground gas regimes. Also provides damp proof membrane protection. A fully integrated system of components including tapes, protection fleece, preformed corners, top hats and gas resistant DPC is available.
