Tekcem Silica Quartz Sand

Tekcem Quartz Sand is a naturally rounded, light-coloured quartz aggregate that is carefully graded, washed, kiln-dried and bagged for consistent quality. With a silica content of over 96% SiO₂ and a Mohs hardness of 7, it delivers the strength, durability and workability demanded by professional screeding and flooring applications. Available in a range of particle sizes to suit different end uses — finer grades (0.4–0.8mm and 0.7–1.2mm) for resin system blinding and textured surface preparation, medium grades (1.2–2.0mm and 3.0–5.0mm) for surface build-up, and a coarser 5–8mm grade for heavy-duty screed mixes. Supplied in 25kg bags or 1000kg bulk bags.
