Flowcrete Isocrete SL Renovation is a fast-drying, pump-applied, self-smoothing, fibre-reinforced underlayment designed for the fast-track renovation of existing floors prior to the installation of floor coverings. Unlike many renovation screeds, it can be applied directly over existing floor finishes such as tiles or flooring grade asphalt, removing the need for floor stripping and significantly reducing both labour costs and construction waste on site. Applied at 5–50mm, with a typical average thickness of 10mm on a reasonably level base, it keeps floor build-up to a minimum while delivering a smooth, durable foundation for a wide range of floor finishes. Suitable for renovation of floors in offices, shops, schools, hospitals, airports and public buildings.

Good to know

• Application thickness range of 5–50mm; typical average of 10mm on a reasonably level base, minimum 13mm when incorporating glass fibre mesh
• Access should be restricted for at least 12 (preferably 24) hours after laying to prevent surface damage
• Compatible with a wide range of floor coverings including vinyl, carpet, ceramic tiles, wood block, linoleum and cork
• Can also receive an epoxy resin finish in areas subject to light traffic
• Substrate temperature must be no less than 5°C and no more than 25°C during application
