Sikafloor 131 Level Latex Ultra

Sikafloor 131 Level Latex Ultra is a one-part, cement-based self-levelling compound designed for smoothing and levelling uneven rigid floors prior to the installation of final floor coverings. Suitable for internal and external use, it is commonly applied before laying ceramic tiles, vinyl, carpet, wood flooring or other decorative finishes, and is compatible with concrete, sand and cement screeds, precast floors and existing ceramic or rigid plastic tiles. It can also be used with underfloor heating systems beneath heating cables and pipes or over heated screeds. When mixed as directed, the compound produces a free-flowing self-levelling mix that creates a smooth, even surface with high strength and durability. Trafficable in approximately 2 hours and ready to receive tiles after around 3 hours. Tested to EN 13813 CT-C30-F7-AR0.5. Available in 25kg bags.

Good to know

• Mix 25kg powder with 5 litres of clean water, always add powder to water
  
• Mix using a mechanical mixer with a spiral paddle until a smooth, free-flowing compound is achieved
  
• Do not add excess water as this may reduce strength and performance
  
• Pot life approximately 15–20 minutes at +20°C
  
• Layer thickness 2mm to 10mm in one application
  
• For deeper sections (10mm to 25mm), mix 1 part clean dry sharp sand with 1 part compound after mixing with water
  
• Initial set approximately 2–3 hours depending on temperature
  
• Allow around 3 days curing before exposure to vehicular traffic
  
• 25kg covers approximately 5m² at 3mm thickness
  
• Application temperature range +5°C to +35°C
  
• Shelf life 6 months from date of manufacture
  
• Store between +5°C and +30°C in unopened bags in cool, dry conditions
