Sikafloor 440 Level Fibre Reinforced

Sikafloor 440 Level Fibre Reinforced is a fibre and polymer reinforced, flexible, high strength cement based levelling compound designed specifically for use with underfloor heating and for application over wooden floors. Suitable for internal and external use, it levels and smooths uneven floors over a wide range of substrates including concrete, sand and cement screeds, brick, stone, unglazed ceramic tiles, plastic sheet DPC, epoxy membranes and wooden floors. Once mixed with water it produces a smooth self-levelling compound that dries to a tough, flexible finish. It can be overlaid with most common floor coverings or left as a final wearing surface. Walk-on in approximately 3 hours, ready to tile in 4 to 5 hours, and strong enough to accept light vehicular traffic. Applied at 2mm to 30mm depth. Conforms to EN 13813 CT-F25-F5-AR0.5. Available in 20kg sacks.

Good to know

• Mix 20kg with 4.2 to 4.4 litres of clean water, always add powder to water
• Do not use excess water
• Pot life approximately 20 minutes at +20°C
• Prime floors with SikaBond PVA+ or SikaBond SBR diluted 1 part to 3 parts water before application
• For timber floors, screw down at 300mm centres and apply SikaBond SBR diluted 1 to 1 with water
• For existing vinyl tiles, prime with SikaBond SBR diluted 1 to 1 with water and allow 24 hours before applying final covering
• Minimum thickness on wooden substrates is 10mm
• Sand and cement screeds must be allowed at least four weeks drying before application
• Setting times will be significantly extended at lower temperatures and over low porosity subfloors
• 20kg covers approximately 2.4 m² at 5mm depth
• Shelf life 6 months from date of manufacture
• Store in unopened bags, clear of the ground in cool dry conditions
