Newton HydroBond 2K-Flex is a high-performance, two-component bitumen waterproofing membrane designed for the external protection of below-ground structures. This solvent-free, polystyrene-filled system consists of a bitumen emulsion and a reactive powder catalyst which, when mixed, form a thick and highly flexible reinforced coating. It is specifically engineered to provide a seamless "Type A" waterproofing barrier that can bridge cracks up to 2mm, making it ideal for basements, foundations, and earth-retaining walls. Certified for radon gas resistance, the 2K-Flex system provides rapid waterproofing and becomes rain-fast shortly after application. Its lightweight consistency allows for easy trowel application or can be spray-applied for maximum efficiency on larger commercial projects.
