The Novia Methane Pro 390 Gas Barrier DIY Kit contains everything needed to install a compliant methane gas barrier in a domestic setting. At the heart of the kit is Novia's Methane Pro 390, a 390gsm multi-layer virgin polythene membrane with an aluminium foil core and reinforcement scrim, compliant with BS 8485 and UKCA marked to EN 13967. The kit includes six rolls of 50mm Double Sided Butyl Tape for sealing all laps and joints with a minimum 50mm bond as required for gas barrier applications, and two rolls of 96mm Aluminium Foil Lap Tape for finishing and reinforcing critical overlaps. All products in the kit are selected to work together and meet the requirements for methane gas barrier installation in residential new build and renovation projects on contaminated or brownfield land.
