Everbuild 208 Powder Mortar Tone

Everbuild 208 Powder Mortar Tone is a range of powdered oxide pigments for colouring cement-based products including concrete, render, screeds and mortar. The pigments disperse easily and uniformly into the mix to produce a consistent shade with each batch and the dose can be adjusted to achieve a wider variety of colour depths. Available in five colours: Black, Red, Brown, Marigold and Buff. Supplied in 1kg tins. As well as colouring the mix, 208 Powder Mortar Tone contains a plasticiser that improves workability and trowelability, reduces bleeding and segregation, and inhibits efflorescence. Conforms to EN 12878 for use in concrete, mortar and grout applications.

Good to know

• Recommended dosage: 1–4kg per 50kg cement (up to 8% by weight of cement)
• Mix the powder pigment with the dry cement before adding water, this ensures even dispersion
• Use a consistent pigment-to-cement ratio across all batches for a uniform colour throughout the job
• Test colour on a small area and allow to dry fully before proceeding, wet mortar will appear darker than the finished dry colour

• Store at 5–30°C, protect from damp | Shelf life 36 months from date of manufacture
