SikaMix Mortar Plasticiser

SikaMix Mortar Plasticiser is a ready-to-use plasticising and air entraining liquid admixture for bricklaying and pointing mortars, renders and screeds. It creates a smoother, creamier mix that is easier to trowel and finish, while improving durability, cohesion and adhesion without affecting setting time. Its air entraining action increases frost resistance and reduces shrinkage, cracking and efflorescence. The chloride free formula is non-corrosive and safe for use with steel reinforcement and brick ties. A very economical admixture just 125–250ml per 50kg cement is required. Compliant with BS EN 934-3:2009 + A1:2012. Available in 5L and 25L jerry cans.

Good to know

• Recommended dosage: 125–250ml per 50kg cement, depending on the degree of plasticising required
• Add to part of the gauging water before combining with dry materials, never add directly to dry mix
• If using with other admixtures, add separately into the gauging water, never mix two admixtures together in the same water
• Does not affect setting time, workability is improved without slowing progress
• Suitable for bricklaying mortars, pointing and repointing, internal and external renders, and floor screeds
• Store between +5°C and +35°C in cool, dry conditions in original tightly closed containers, protect from frost
• Shelf life 12 months from date of manufacture | Available in 5L and 25L jerry cans
