Parex 355 AVU Reinforcing Mesh

Parex 355 AVU Reinforcing Mesh is a green coloured glass fibre mesh fabric with specially designed surface treatments for use in Parextherm and Parexdirect render applications. The green colour and Parex branding throughout the mesh allow for ease of identification on site. The high quality alkali resistant coating on the glass yarn protects the mesh against alkaline influences from the adhesive and base coat materials used in the render system.

• Mesh square dimensions are approximately 3.5 x 3.8mm.
• Tensile strength 2000/2000 N/50mm
• Treated fabric weight 160g/m²
• The mesh is embedded within the base coat near to the front face, with all horizontal and vertical edges overlapped a minimum of 100mm. 
• Corner reinforcement pieces of minimum 300 x 300mm should be applied to all openings before the main mesh.
