Natcem Tank 25kg

Natcem Tank is an environmentally friendly waterproof mortar with rapid strength gain, designed for tanking, damp proofing and waterproofing applications from a minimum thickness of 10mm. Formulated from a blend of natural cement binder, retarder and specially selected graded aggregates passing a 2mm sieve, it contains no chemical additives and requires only the addition of water. An extended setting time of 55–60 minutes at 20°C provides longer workability than faster-setting natural cement mortars, making it well suited to larger tanking projects. Achieves 26 MPa compressive strength at 28 days, sets underwater and can be used down to 0°C including in freezing conditions. Can be overcoated within one hour of setting. Supplied in 25kg bags.

Good to know

• Mix ratio: 1 x 25kg bag with 3.6–4 litres of water produces approximately 12.5 litres of mortar
• Coverage: approximately 1m² at 10mm depth per 25kg bag
• Minimum application thickness: 10mm
• When applying a finishing plaster, use Thistle Board Finish or Lime Plaster — do not use Multi-Finish Plaster
• Do not apply additional water during finishing — may cause surface cracking
• Once setting has started, do not remix or smooth the surface
• Shelf life: minimum 12 months in dry storage conditions
