Ultimate Radonblok Double Sided Tape

Visqueen RadonBlok Double Sided Tape is a yellow butyl based double sided tape with an oversized release film to aid removal during installation. It is designed specifically for use with the Visqueen RadonBlok 400 and RadonBlok 600 radon barrier membranes, providing resistance to radon gas ingress and moisture ingress at lap joints.

The tape is used in conjunction with the VisqueenPro Single Sided Tape as part of a complete taped jointing system for the RadonBlok membrane range. An Environmental Product Declaration is available. Supplied in 30mm x 30m rolls.

Good to know

• Ensure the membrane lap area is clean, dry and free from contamination such as dust or sand. Avoid areas of unsupported jointing.
  
• Apply Visqueen RadonBlok Double Sided Tape to the lap area of the laid sheet starting approximately 50mm from the membrane edge
• Apply pressure to the tape to ensure the tape has adhered to the membrane.
• Remove quick
  release paper from the tape and overlap the adjoining membrane by minimum 150mm and seal with VisqueenPro Single Sided Tape.
  
• Once the tapes are applied, the completed lap should be well rolled with firm pressure to ensure continuity with the adjacent sheet has been achieved.
