100mm Visqueen Double Sided Butyl Tape

Visqueen 100mm Double Sided Butyl Tape is a double sided pressure sensitive butyl strip sealant consisting of a black butyl based adhesive compound with an oversized release paper. The extra wide 100mm width improves joint strength and provides reliable lap joint resistance to water ingress and ground gases across a range of membrane systems.

The tape is part of Visqueen's BBA Agrement certified jointing systems and is used as a lap bonding tape across a wide range of Visqueen products including gas barrier membranes, waterproofing membranes and Zedex CPT High Performance DPC. An Environmental Product Declaration is available. Supplied in 100mm x 15m rolls.

Good to know

• Prior to application ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and fully supported. Avoid areas of unsupported jointing.
  
• In cold weather, store in a warm location prior to use
• Apply Visqueen 100mm Double Sided Butyl Tape to the lap area and remove release paper. Overlap adjoining DPCs by minimum 100mm and membranes by 150mm. Apply pressure to the jointed area e.g. using a roller, to ensure a full bond is achieved.
