SikaSwell A

SikaSwell® A is a rectangular acrylic sealing profile. It swells in contact with water to seal all types of construction joints and penetrations in concrete structures.

The profile can swell up to 150% of its original volume over 30 days, developing a swelling pressure of up to 10 bar in ideal conditions, and is permanently water resistant through repeated wet and dry cycles. It is resistant to a range of chemical substances, easy and fast to apply, and suitable for a variety of substrates. BBA certified in system with SikaSwell® S-2 (Certificate No. 13/4994), and available in three sizes: 20×5mm (20m roll), 20×10mm (10m roll), and 20×25mm (5m roll).

• BBA system approvals with SikaSwell S-2
• Do not apply in construction joints with existing standing water.
• Ambient air temp maximum is +35°C and minimum +5°C
• Substrate temperature maximum +35°C & minimum +5°C
• Low density concrete or voids will prevent SikaSwell from developing its waterproofing function.
• Clean all tools immediately after use
