Ancon STRT Cavity Starter Tie

Ancon Staifix STRT is a stainless steel cavity starter tie for connecting new cavity wall construction to existing masonry structures. Unlike the STRTBOX which is designed for single skin masonry, the STRT is specifically engineered for cavity wall applications, with a longer length to span the cavity and a neoprene ring that provides a weathertight seal around the tie at the wall face.

Supplied with an 8mm nylon plug and neoprene ring for each tie. Fixed by screwing into a drilled hole in the existing masonry at the appropriate bed joint height. Available in three standard lengths — 180mm for narrower cavities, 200mm for standard cavities and 230mm for wider cavity wall constructions. Manufactured from stainless steel for long term corrosion resistance. Available in packs of 10 for smaller jobs and packs of 100 for larger projects.
