• Mix ratio 1 part cement to 7 parts sand
• Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from any dust, debris, or contaminants. Remove any loose material and repair any cracks or holes.
• Add Ardex A29 to clean water in a suitable mixing container, using a mechanical mixer for best results. Mix thoroughly until a homogenous, lump-free consistency is achieved.
• Pour the mixed screed onto the prepared substrate and spread evenly using a screeding trowel. Ensure the screed is compacted and leveled to the desired thickness.
• Allow the screed to dry for at least 8 hours before walking on it. Tiles can be installed after 24 hours, and other floor coverings can be applied after 4 days, depending on the site conditions and screed thickness.
• Once the screed has dried, it can be sanded or smoothed as necessary to achieve the desired finish.
