B125 Drive Drain Channel

Manthorpe B125 Drive Drain is a linear drainage channel designed for the collection and conveyance of surface water from impermeable hardstanding areas around domestic properties. Manufactured from 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic, it is rated to EN 1433 Class B125, making it suitable for domestic driveways, private parking areas and garage entrances subject to light vehicular traffic up to 12.5 tonnes. The textured anti-slip grate finish also makes it suitable for pedestrian and cyclist use on patios and pathways.

The channel features tapered load supports that distribute vehicular loading both vertically and laterally for ongoing strength and durability, and an innovative linear clip design that allows the grate to be positioned at any point along the channel length. Four hidden screw fixing locations per grate provide additional security where required. Integral 4 inch vertical outlets are spaced at 140mm centres in the base of the channel, with a 40mm horizontal pipe outlet also available via the end cap. Junction units and end caps are available separately to complete the system.

Good to know 

• Not suitable for highways
• Make sure that the appropriate pipework for the onward flow of the system installed.
• When digging the trench  it is necessary the correct fall is integrated into the run (25mm in 1m)
• The Drive Drain B125 is a Type M channel as defined by EN 1433 and requires
  the additional support of concrete and the surrounding structure to withstand the
  vertical and horizontal loads in use.
