Dual Swift Brick

Manthorpe Dual Swift Brick is a double width built-in swift nesting solution developed in conjunction with major house builders and conservation experts to improve the biodiversity of the built environment. The twin brick profile provides 500cm² of floor area within the wall construction, giving maximum habitable living space for nesting swifts. Unlike the single Swift Nesting Brick, the Dual Swift Brick uses space in the existing wall for both the entrance and the nesting chamber, making it an ideal solution for new build and retrofit projects where access to a cavity for the nesting chamber may not be available.

The compact design works with cavity wall details down to 50mm, making it particularly suitable for modern timber frame constructions where cavity widths are often narrower than in traditional masonry. Simple to install during the bricklaying process or retrofitted into existing walls with a minimum cavity of 50mm. Overall size 445 x 85 x 150mm. Facing brick size 215 x 65mm. Entrance opening 29 x 65mm.
