Everbuild General Purpose Silicone

Everbuild General Purpose Silicone is a versatile, quick-curing acetoxy silicone sealant for a broad range of sealing applications in and around the home and on construction sites. The fast acetoxy cure delivers a high-strength, permanently flexible, waterproof seal quickly and reliably. Contains an anti-fungal compound that actively resists the growth of bacteria, mildew and black mould in high-humidity environments such as bathrooms and kitchens. Suitable for sealing around baths, showers, basins, kitchen worktops and laminates, fixing uPVC trims and cladding, aluminium gutter sealing, and general draught proofing. Movement accommodation ±12.5% to EN15651-1.

Good to know

• Not suitable for use on soft metals (lead, copper, zinc), use Sikasil 825 neutral cure on these surfaces
  
• Clean all surfaces thoroughly, glass, steel and aluminium should be cleaned with proprietary solvent for optimum adhesion
  
• Porous surfaces may require priming, test a small area first
  
• Clean uncured sealant with white spirit; cured sealant use Everflex Silicone Eater
  
• Not suitable for structural glazing applications
