Feb FebSET 45

Feb FebSET 45 is a rapid high strength repair mortar based on magnesia-phosphate cement, pre-mixed with selected aggregates. Initial set takes place in approximately 15 minutes at +20°C, with sufficient strength to receive heavy traffic in less than one hour. Suitable for repairs to concrete slabs, road and bridge decks, industrial floors, loading bays, around fixing bolts, and raising and levelling manhole covers and gratings. Requires no secondary bonding agents, is non-shrink, and offers excellent resistance to de-icing salts. Can be placed in temperatures down to -20°C. For depths greater than 100mm, 10mm aggregate can be added. Tested to EN 1504-3 Class R4. Available in 25kg paper sacks.

Good to know

• Standard mix: 25kg FebSET 45 to 1.5L water, always add powder to water, never water to powder
• Do not add further water once mixing has begun and do not include any admixtures
• Layer thickness 20mm to 100mm as standard
• For depths greater than 100mm add up to 10kg of 10mm coarse aggregate per 25kg bag
• Minimum repair thickness is 10mm, feather edging must not be used
• Repair boundaries must be square cut
• Mix only what can be placed and finished within 10 minutes
• In cold conditions below +5°C, warm mixing water to +25°C to +30°C
• In hot conditions above +30°C, use chilled water to extend open time
• Protect from wet weather for a minimum of 30 minutes after application
• Shelf life 6 months from date of manufacture
• Store between +5°C and +30°C in dry conditions
