Description
Description
Flowcrete Isocrete M-Bond 12kg Black is a two-pack, solvent-free epoxy resin bonding agent designed for bonding cementitious and polymer modified screeds directly to concrete substrates. It provides a strong, reliable bond between concrete and a wide range of Isocrete screeds including K-Screed, Fast K-Screed, Screedfast and Isogran, and can also be used to provide a full damp proof membrane between the concrete and the screed. Solvent and nonylphenol free, and practically odourless during application, M-Bond is well suited to occupied or sensitive environments. Its use also allows screeds to be applied at reduced thicknesses compared to unbonded systems, making it a practical choice for projects where floor build-up height is a consideration.
Benefits
- Strong epoxy bond between concrete substrate and cementitious screeds, enabling thinner screed depths
- Can be used to provide a full DPM between the concrete and the screed
- Resistant to impact damage and surface wear once cured
- Solvent-free and nonylphenol-free formulation — practically odourless during application
- Suitable for use with Isocrete K-Screed, Fast K-Screed, Screedfast and Isogran
- Low odour makes it appropriate for use in occupied buildings and sensitive environments
Good to know
- Applied as a single coat bonding agent for semi-dry screed applications
- The substrate must be surface dry before application, with no ground water pressure present in the concrete
- Suitable for use in wet areas such as shower rooms and areas where screeds are laid to falls
- Always refer to the Flowcrete product data sheet before specifying or applying
