Fosroc Nitocote CM210 Cementitious Waterproof Coating

Nitocote CM210 is a polymer modified cementitious coating supplied in pre-weighed powder and liquid components. Mixed on site with a slow speed drill and paddle, it is applied by brush, roller, trowel or spray in two coats to form a seamless waterproof barrier. It bonds directly to green or damp concrete without a separate primer, and its flexibility allows it to bridge fine static cracks in the substrate.

Approved under the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme for contact with potable water, it is widely used on reservoirs, water tanks, canals, culverts and below-ground retaining walls and foundations. The two colours serve a practical purpose on site: applying white first and grey second gives a clear visual check that full coverage has been achieved on each coat.

Benefits

• Resists positive water pressure up to 7 bar and negative pressure up to 3 bar, protecting structures from water under head
• Flexible film bridges static cracks over 1mm, accommodating minor substrate movement

Good to know 

• Supplied as a kit: 18.2kg powder bag plus 5kg liquid component, in grey or white
• Coverage is approximately 12.5m² per pack in two 1mm coats; a minimum of 3.6kg/m² over two coats is recommended
• Pot life is around 1 hour at 20°C, so mix only what can be used in that time
• Apply between 5°C and 40°C; not suitable where a critical colour-matched external appearance is required
• Not recommended for structures subject to high movement, such as elevated water tanks
