Fosroc Proofex Engage

Fosroc Proofex Engage comprises a blended polyethylene/polypropylene membrane with a cell mesh bonded to one face. When concrete is poured onto the membrane, it flows into the cell mesh and locks permanently to the membrane — creating a fully bonded, anti-tracking system that cannot delaminate or allow water to migrate laterally between the membrane and the structure, even in the event of ground settlement.

The membrane is supplied with a self-adhesive selvedge along one edge to provide sealed laps, and requires no primer or protection board. Blinding concrete may be eliminated, simplifying the construction sequence. The product is inert and will not react with ponded water prior to the concrete pour. For cold weather working below +5°C, additional measures are required — contact Fosroc for guidance. Once exposed, the membrane should not be left unprotected for more than 6 to 8 weeks in high temperature or high humidity conditions.
