Fosroc Renderoc HB45 High Build Concrete Repair Mortar 25kg

Renderoc HB45 is a medium density, polymer modified repair mortar developed for the reinstatement of reinforced concrete where low permeability and higher compressive strength are priorities. Based on Portland cements, graded aggregates, lightweight fillers, fibres and chemical additives, it is supplied as a single component, pre-bagged powder requiring only the site addition of clean water, which removes the variation associated with site batching. The low water demand supports good strength gain and long term durability.

Its build characteristics allow application to vertical sections up to 80mm and overhead sections up to 70mm in a single pass without formwork, so many repairs to columns, beams and soffits can be completed in fewer layers. The mortar can be placed by hand or by wet spray for larger areas.

A medium fresh wet density gives Renderoc HB45 broader application than heavier mortars, extending its use from column and beam repair to soffit reinstatement. Polymer modification produces extremely low permeability to water, carbon dioxide and chlorides, helping to protect embedded reinforcement in aggressive and exposed environments. A built in shrinkage compensation system supports long term dimensional stability of the completed repair, and the mortar contains no chloride admixtures.
