GCP Bituthene 8000s

GCP Bituthene 8000S delivers high-performance post-applied waterproofing for below-ground sub-structures in warmer site conditions. Its 1.52mm thick light grey HDPE composite film is engineered for superior strength and flexibility, and the light colour makes any accidental damage clearly visible — black compound showing through the grey film — making patch repairs straightforward and quality control easier on site. Printed overlap lines ensure minimum laps are consistently maintained.

The membrane is damp surface tolerant and can be used on green concrete, making it practical in typical below-ground construction conditions. Primer S2 must be applied to all surfaces except below-ground load bearing slabs and Preprufe membrane surfaces. All internal and external corners and penetrations must be detailed with Bituthene LM(E) liquid membrane before the sheet membrane is applied.
