GCP Bituthene B1 Primer

GCP Bituthene Primer B1 is the recommended primer for use with Bituthene GP membranes on dry substrates. Its rapid-drying formulation makes it particularly well suited to winter working conditions, reaching a tack-free state in as little as 30 minutes at 20°C — though drying time will be longer in cold temperatures. Deep puddles of primer should be avoided as these will extend drying time.

Priming should be limited to an area that can be covered with membrane on the same day. Any areas that accumulate dust or dirt after priming must be re-primed before the membrane is applied. Do not apply Primer B1 directly to Bituthene membranes.
