Natcem Retarder 80g

Natcem Setting Retarder is a natural additive (Citric Acid E330) designed to extend the initial setting time of natural cement based products for challenging applications or warm weather working. Water-soluble and easy to mix, it is simply added to the gauging water before the cement product is introduced. At 20°C, a maximum dose of 40g per 25kg bag will delay the set by approximately 30–40 minutes. Supplied in 80g bottles — one bottle treats two 25kg bags at full dosage. Compatible with Natcem 35, Natcem AC, Natcem DW, Trackcrete, Natcem D Grout and CWG Grout.

Good to know

• Maximum dosage: 40g (half bottle) per 25kg bag of natural cement product
• In colder conditions the extended set time will be longer; in warmer conditions it will be shorter
• Do not use retarding additives designed for common cements — these are not suitable for natural cement products
