Newton 402 HydroBond is a high-performance, cold-applied waterproof membrane specifically engineered for the external protection of basement walls and retaining structures. This "Type A" waterproofing solution consists of a thick, highly elastic polymer-modified bitumen layer bonded to a tough, cross-laminated polyethylene film. Unlike pre-applied systems, the 402 is designed for post-application to the exterior of the structure, providing a seamless and flexible barrier that can bridge shrinkage cracks in the concrete. Its self-adhesive backing ensures a secure bond to the substrate, preventing water tracking and protecting the building from groundwater pressure and moisture penetration.
