Newton CDM BaseDrain Drainage Channel 2m Length

Newton CDM BaseDrain is the primary drainage conduit used within the Newton CDM cavity drain waterproofing system. Installed at the floor-to-wall junction, this perimeter drainage channel is designed to relieve hydrostatic pressure by collecting ingressing water and directing it safely to a sump chamber or suitable discharge point. The channel features an "upstand" flange that sits behind the wall membrane, ensuring that any water captured by the wall system is funneled directly into the drainage path. Each 2m length is manufactured from high-quality, durable PVC and features pre-drilled 18mm holes along the sides and top. These apertures allow water from beneath floor insulation and within the spacer zone to enter the channel easily, ensuring the entire floor area remains free of standing water.
