Newton HydroBond 2K-Flex Primer is a quick-drying, solvent-free bitumen emulsion primer designed for preparing concrete and masonry substrates. It is specifically formulated to be used in conjunction with the Newton HydroBond 2K-Flex bitumen waterproofing coating. By penetrating the surface, it significantly reduces the porosity of the substrate, ensuring a superior bond for the subsequent waterproofing layers. It is suitable for application on various common construction materials, including concrete, brickwork, and plaster, providing an essential foundation for external "Type A" barrier waterproofing systems.
