Description
Newton HydroBond SAGM is a high-performance, self-adhesive "Type A" membrane specifically designed to provide both external waterproofing and robust gas proofing for below-ground structures. This versatile sheet membrane is a composite of cross-oriented HDPE film and a thick bitumen-polymer adhesive, engineered for post-application to concrete, blockwork, or Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) walls. In addition to preventing water ingress, the SAGM version provides a certified barrier against harmful ground gases, including Radon, Methane, and Carbon Dioxide. Its advanced adhesive formula ensures a high-strength, fully-bonded seal even in temperatures as low as 5°C, effectively eliminating the risk of water or gas tracking between the membrane and the structure.
