Description
Description
Newton HydroCoat 105 1K is a highly versatile, single-component, polymer-modified cementitious waterproofing system. By simply adjusting the water-to-powder ratio, this "five-in-one" product can be used as a waterproofing slurry, a repair mortar, a fairing coat, a bag-rubbing mix, or a thin-section bonded screed. It is designed to provide a fully bonded, impermeable barrier on concrete and masonry substrates, resisting up to 10 bar of both positive and negative water pressure. Its advanced formulation ensures high early strength and rapid drying, making it an essential multi-purpose tool for structural waterproofing and surface restoration.
Benefits
- One product supports five distinct applications: slurry, mortar, fairing coat, bag-rubbing, and screed
- Resists extreme water pressure (up to 10 bar) at only 2mm thickness
- Exceptional adhesion to concrete (2 MPa) and masonry substrates
- Fast-curing: achieves 13 MPa compressive strength in 1 day and is rain-tight within 1 hour
- Suitable for both positive (exterior) and negative (interior) side waterproofing
- Vapour permeable, VOC-free, and odourless, ideal for confined spaces
Good to know
- Supplied in 25kg bags
- Can be applied by trowel, brush, or airless spray
- As a repair mortar, it can be applied up to 6mm thick for smoothing and leveling
- Performs reliably on damp substrates, making it perfect for "live" site conditions
- Non-elastomeric—designed for rigid structural elements
