Newton Liquid Gas Membrane | Gas, Radon & DPM 15kg

Applied by brush, roller or airless spray, Newton Liquid Gas Membrane forms a continuous, fully bonded layer with no laps or joints, giving a practical alternative to sheet membranes where detailing or access makes sheet systems awkward. Once cured it stays flexible enough to accommodate minor substrate movement and bridge hairline cracks, and it works on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, above or below ground.

Its dual gas and damp-proofing performance suits a broad spread of below-ground and internal work, from protecting habitable basements against ground gas to preparing porous floors ahead of screeding. Being water-based and low-odour, it is well suited to occupied and enclosed sites where solvent-based products would be impractical.

• One 15kg unit covers approximately 10.5 m² at the recommended two-coat rate
• Not a standalone Type A waterproofing system. Where water pressure is present, a separate Type A waterproofing system is required first, with the membrane applied over it for gas and vapour control
• Not approved for contact with potable water
