Newton NewSeal 408 DeckDrain is a specialized, double-cuspated drainage membrane designed for use on decks, balconies, and flat roofs. It consists of a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) core with studs on both the upper and lower surfaces, and a non-woven polypropylene geotextile filter layer thermally bonded to the upper cuspates. This unique "double-cuspated" design ensures a clean drainage path both above and below the membrane, preventing water from becoming trapped against the primary waterproofing layer. It effectively manages surface water while filtering out fine soil particles, making it essential for complex roof build-ups.
