The Novia 1000 Gauge (250 Micron) AVCL DIY Kit contains everything needed to install a compliant air and vapour control layer in a domestic setting where a moderate condensation risk has been identified. At the heart of the kit is Novia's 1000G VirginPoly AVCL, a 250 micron virgin grade polythene membrane CE marked to EN 13984, supplied multi-folded at 4m x 25m for efficient coverage of large floor or wall areas. The kit includes two rolls of 30mm Double Sided Butyl Tape for securing all laps and joints, one roll of 72mm Aluminium Foil Lap Tape for finishing and reinforcing overlaps, and three cartridges of AirSeal 310 FR Sealant for sealing around penetrations and at junctions where tape alone cannot achieve an airtight finish. All products in the kit are selected to work together and deliver a complete, airtight vapour control installation.
