Description
Novia AirSeal 310 FR is a halogen free, fire rated, polymer emulsion-based cartridge sealant for use in AVCL installations where additional sealing is required. Suitable for internal corners, floor sections, window reveals, internal partitions, and linear gap seals at the head or foot of walls. Forms a fire and smoke seal in joints up to 35mm wide without slumping. Dries to a flexible and smooth surfaced finish providing movement capability in fire rated linear joint and penetration seals. Will not harden or crack with age. Readily over paintable. Excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates. Applied using a standard sealant cartridge gun. Should be used in addition to Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape and Novia Aluminium Foil Tape or Novia Metallised BOPP Tape as part of a complete AVCL installation. Each 310ml cartridge produces approximately 1 linear metre using a 20mm x 15mm bead. Fire tested to BS EN 1366-4.

Good to know
- Not suitable for use as the load-bearing element of a system, mechanical fastenings are always required
- Ensure surfaces are dry and free from dirt, oil and loose material before application
- Non-porous surfaces should be degreased and highly porous surfaces should be primed before application
- Apply masking tape to each side of joint for a cleaner finish and remove within 10 minutes of application
- A standard sealant cartridge gun is required
- Fire tested to BS EN 1366-4
- Each 310ml cartridge produces approximately 1 linear metre using a 20mm x 15mm bead
