Description
Novia FlamePro A1 FR is a premium quality, high performance, reflective air and vapour control layer (AVCL) with an EN 13501-1 Class A1 fire classification, the highest fire rating achievable for membranes in the UK market. Suitable for use in high rise applications under the relevant sections of Fire Safety Approved Document B. Offers excellent moisture vapour resistance and very low moisture vapour permeability, minimising interstitial condensation. The reflective surface improves the thermal performance of the overall wall or roof build-up. Weighing 270g/m², it is reflective on one side and white on the reverse. Available on NBS Chorus and NBS Source. Supplied as a 1.48m x 50m roll (74m²).

Good to know
- Reflective on one side, white on the reverse, no text or images on the membrane
- For all airtight installations use with Novia 30mm Double Sided Butyl Tape and Novia 96mm BS 476 Cold Weather Foil Lap Tape
- Novia AirSeal 310 FR sealant can be used where additional sealing is required, for example at internal corners, floor sections or window reveals
- Note that Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape is not fire rated, but tapes and sealants are excluded under relevant sections of Fire Safety Approved Document B
- For a full Class B installation use in conjunction with Novia FR Breather Membrane or Novia UV Facade FR Breather Membrane for open facade applications
- Available on NBS Chorus and NBS Source
- Supplied as a 1.48m x 50m roll (74m²)
