Description
Novia Methane Pro 390 is a multi-layer virgin polythene laminate with a reinforced aluminium foil core and reinforcement scrim, suitable for use as a loose laid methane, carbon dioxide and radon gas barrier and high specification damp proof membrane. Weighing 390gsm with a minimum thickness of 0.4mm, it complies with BS 8485 for methane gas applications and meets EN 13967 as a DPM. UKCA approved. Suitable for both taped and welded installations. Blue on one side and silver on the reverse with no text or images. Available on NBS Create and NBS Plus. Supplied as a 1.6m x 50m roll (80m²).

- Methane transmission tested to BS ISO 15105-1 — ≤0.1 ml/(m².day.atm) for main membrane sheet, ≤13.6 ml/(m².day.atm) for taped joints and ≤18.3 ml/(m².day.atm) for welded joints
- If installed as a taped system use Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape (50mm minimum width) between laps and Novia Aluminium Foil Lap Tape (96mm minimum width) on overlaps
