Description
The Novia VC2 AVCL DIY Kit contains everything needed to install a compliant air and vapour control layer in a timber frame dwelling. At the heart of the kit is Novia's VC2 AVCL, a scrim-reinforced EVA flame resistant membrane with an SD value of 2 to 6 metres, CE marked to EN 13984 and specifically designed for use in timber frame construction. The translucent finish allows battens to remain visible during installation. The kit includes two rolls of 30mm Double Sided Butyl Tape for securing all laps and joints, one roll of 72mm Aluminium Foil Lap Tape for finishing and reinforcing overlaps, and three cartridges of AirSeal 310 FR Sealant for sealing around penetrations and at junctions where tape alone cannot achieve an airtight finish. All products in the kit are selected to work together and deliver a complete, airtight vapour control installation in timber frame applications.
