Good to know

• Class B-s1,d0 fire classification is valid when installed flush against a substrate with fire class A2-s1,d0 or A1, such as 12mm plasterboard, with no cavity between product and substrate
• For thermal improvement install with reflective side facing a minimum 25mm air cavity, note a second plasterboard lining may need to be installed to retain fire classification
• For all airtight installations use with Novia 30mm Double Sided Butyl Tape and Novia 96mm BS 476 Cold Weather Foil Lap Tape
• Novia AirSeal 310 FR sealant can be used where additional sealing is required, for example at internal corners, floor sections or window reveals
• Note that Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape is not fire rated, but tapes and sealants are excluded under relevant sections of Fire Safety Approved Document B
• For a full Class B installation use in conjunction with Novia FR Breather Membrane or Novia UV Facade FR Breather Membrane for open facade applications
